The Iowa Division of Banking has implemented a system that enables the secure transfer of email between our office and other offices. The public is welcome to use this system to securely send email to the IDOB.
There are two different systems offered by our secure email solution provider - one is ZixDirect secure email, and the other is web based secure email (Zix Portal). EACH SOLUTION REQUIRES ITS OWN AUTHENTICATION (Username and Password).
Emails sent as attachments (into your outlook or other emails clients) are stored locally at users' computer for a long time; Emails stored on the web based solution will be deleted in 14 days.
You can reply to ZixDirect emails in a secure mode without leaving your email client.
Our Zix Portal solution provides a way for you to INITIATE secure email to IDOB employees.
